You’ll learn how to recognize someone having thoughts of suicide\, how to engage them\, and how to make sure they get help. This evidence-based training is effective for people as young as 15. The in-person format includes powerful audiovisuals and live practice. \nsafeTALK for AG teaches the same skills to farmers\, lenders\, mediators\, agency staff\, clergy\, educators\, veterinarians\, healthcare and social service providers\, and agricultural advisors and businesspeople. \nRegistration is required. A light lunch will be provided.

SUMMARY:Hope for Recovery free Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join 2B CONTINUED and NAMI Minnesota for the Hope for Recovery workshop to learn about anxiety disorders\, bipolar disorder\, borderline personality disorder\,  depression\, schizophrenia\, and co-occurring disorders\, including the diagnostic assessment process\, treatments\, and recovery. \nParticipants will also learn about crisis management and suicide prevention\, tools for healthy relationship building while helping a loved one\, and local resources. \nThis workshop is for family\, friends\, and loved ones of a teen or adult living with a mental illness and not for professional development or observation. Led by trained family members who have been there\, this workshop includes presentations\, discussions and interactive exercises\, as well as support and connection among peers. A workbook is provided to participants to complete exercises and journaling during and after the workshop. \nRegister here.
