DESCRIPTION:2B CONTINUED’s annual Training Day offers a variety of free suicide prevention and mental health trainings for professionals and community members. This a la carte event allows participants to choose one or more sessions that fit their schedule and interests. Trainings focus on increasing awareness\, recognizing the signs of a mental health or suicide crisis\, and learning practical tools that can support conversations and connections in our communities. Whether attending for professional development or personal learning\, participants can select the trainings that best fit their needs. \nAll classes are free and held at Glencoe City Center in Glencoe\, MN. Most trainings take place Wednesday\, June 17\, with the exception of ASIST\, which is a two-day training held June 16 & 17. \n  \nTrainings Offered\nTWO-DAY TRAINING (JUNE 16 & 17) \n\nApplied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) – June 16 & June 17\, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (16-hour training)\n\n  \nMORNING TRAININGS (JUNE 17) \n\nSafeTALK for Ag – 8:00–11:30 AM\nYouth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) – 8:00 AM–2:00 PM\nAdult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) – 8:00 AM–2:30 PM\n2B CONTINUED Volunteer Training – 9:00–10:00 AM\n\n  \nMIDDAY TRAININGS (JUNE 17) \n\nNaloxone Training – 12:00–1:00 PM\nQuestion\, Persuade\, Refer (QPR) – 12:00–2:00 PM\n\n  \nAFTERNOON TRAININGS (JUNE 17) \n\nCounseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) – 2:15–5:15 PM\nNaloxone Training – 2:30–3:30 PM\n2B CONTINUED Volunteer Training – 4:30–5:30 PM\n\n  \nRegistration is required. View the full schedule and register here!
