Registration is required. \n**This unique training experience includes an opportunity to hear how the LIVIN Foundation started. \nJust as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year\, people trained in QPR (Question Persuade Refer) learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question\, persuade and refer someone to help. It is the most widely taught gatekeeper training in the United States that teaches best practices in suicide prevention. \nThere are four\, FREE virtual QPR gatekeeper trainings throughout 2024\, made possible by the LIVIN Foundation (2/24\, 5/7\, 9/11\, 11/2). It is intended for anyone 18 years and older and professionals including health care workers\, first responders\, law enforcement\, educators\, clergy\, bankers\, lawyers and more! We’re here for you.\n\nOur Suicide Loss Support Group is a supportive and safe environment for adult suicide loss survivors to share and connect with others who have also experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. We have come to find\, many who have lost a loved one to suicide focus their energy in ways that can positively affect oneself and surrounding communities. Through their personal loss and grief\, their survival story becomes a guiding light for those with similar struggles. \nThe Suicide Loss Support Group meets the 2nd Monday of the month at our Glencoe office.
