Meet the Dance Couples!
What is Dancing Like the Stars?
“Dancing Like the Stars” brings together 12 STAR couples from our service area counties to compete in a friendly dance competition. This exciting event not only raises funds for our organization, but also creates awareness of our mission.
With a rapidly expanding outreach, 2B CONTINUED aims to make a positive impact on our communities. The money raised from this event will be used to further our mission: to increase awareness of suicide prevention, mental health & wellness through advocacy, education and outreach.
In 2023, over 20,000 individuals were impacted by our programs, including educational offerings such as QPR and SafeTALK for Ag trainings, National Council for Mental Wellbeing Mental Health First Aid courses, and our Annual Continuing Education Conference. Our community outreach activities, like encouraging yard signs and Suicide Loss Bereavement Support Group, have also made a difference in people’s lives. The funds raised through “Dancing Like the Stars” will enable us to continue providing these vital services.
Furthermore, the event serves as the primary funding source for our Teen Mental Health First Aid program. We currently offer this evidence-based training to high schoolers in nine local school districts, with overwhelming demand for the program. By attending “Dancing Like the Stars,” you directly support this essential initiative.
Our dedicated team, along with the talented dancers and choreographers, put in tremendous effort to create an engaging and memorable show year after year. Don’t miss this exceptional production that not only entertains, but also contributes to the critical work we do in our communities!
Join us at our 4th annual “Dancing Like the Stars” on April 13, 2024 at the Glencoe City Center!
